During 2010 I enrolled in the Brisbane Institute of Art and took a semester of portraiture. Each week we had about 3 hours to sketch a model in any medium we preferred. I frequently used pencil and water colour pencil crossed with pastel. At the end of the semester the institute has a large exhibition where all the students works are displayed (from all areas of study) and pieces can be sold (if the student allows).
